If it's your turn to host the soirée this year, you should aim to spend as much of the party with your guests as possible, rather dashing around the kitchen or agonising about insignificant details. With a little creativity and tips and tricks, you can throw an awesome end of the year bash that your friends will remember for years, without breaking the bank!
A fabulous New Year's Eve is a feast of taste, smells, sounds, hues, decor and aesthetics. When all these textures and tones are married to each other then a complete experience is created that will live in your memories for years and will join you in your splendid gathering.
Great Aroma - The first thing your guest will notice while coming to your home is the aroma wafting from your home. Take a moment to notice what smell is going to greet your guests. Go for some subtly scented candles or leave your oven open after you've prepared your delicious cookies and cakes for the evening, so that your home can be filled with the delectable scent of freshly baked cookies and cakes to beckon your guests in.

Lighting - Lighting plays a very important role in creating a warm & welcoming environment where your guests can relax. Stay away from your normal white ceiling light - far too harsh and cold. Use dimmers, pendants, and replace your white bulbs with low watt coloured bulb in warm yellow or orange tone. In addition to your dim lighting, you can also use candles all over your place to give your home a more inviting feel.

Decor - If you have the right feel in the party, half of your job is done. Choose what mood you want for your party. Go for candles, vintage lights and flowers if you like it quite and calm. And if you are the party hard types, then you can add high voltage bulbs, high octane music, good enough for that much need adrenaline rush.
